Sports Podiatrist
Idoia is the director of the Iknos Clinic and the team leader. Her experience as a podiatrist for elite athletes, on teams such as Bàsquet Girona and Club Joventut Badalona, and as a professor of the Master's in Podiatry at the University of Barcelona, in addition to a long professional career as a podiatrist and sports biomechanist, make her a reference in the sector.
In consultations, she is responsible for making visits and monitoring patients, as well as making and designing custom insoles for their treatment. She is also a trainer at INDIBA and teaches courses for podiatry and sports footwear professionals through Scanmba.

FERRAN MALLORQUÍ
Sports Biomechanics for Running and Cycling
Ferran is passionate about running and cycling, and at the clinic you can find him analyzing patients' biomechanics on a bicycle or treadmill. During consultations, he uses tests to analyze the body's movements and forces to identify the source of an injury or pain. His goal is to make the best recommendation for athletic footwear, as well as specific strength and mobility training.
A graduate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFyD) from EUSES Girona, he specializes in cycling biomechanics and running analysis. In addition to his professional experience in the private sector, he has worked closely with various elite athletes, trail runners, and cyclists. Néstor is responsible for performing biomechanical studies at the clinic. During his consultations, he performs a thorough muscular assessment of the patients who come in for the study, as well as a comprehensive analysis of the footwear they use and which is the most suitable for them.
He has a degree in Applied Sports Technology from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and specializes in injury rehabilitation from Pompeu Fabra University. In addition to his experience in the private sector, Néstor specializes in the functional assessment of athletes. He is also a trainer for the sports footwear courses taught by Scanmba.

CARLES SARQUELLA
Physiotherapist and Sports Rehabilitation
Physiotherapy and personal training sessions: Carles develops his sessions based on a differential diagnosis, focusing on understanding the origin of the pain and educating each patient, providing the necessary tools for its resolution. In addition, he focuses on getting the most out of each patient, designing workouts to achieve their goals.
Apart from his experience in the private sector, Carles has extensive experience as a physical trainer and tennis coach, and as a physiotherapist for football teams such as Girona FC in the 2nd RFEF.
